How to book station 53a

Ready to bring your project to life in our post-apocalyptic universe? Booking your shoot at Station 53A is straightforward. Follow the steps below to reserve your date and prepare for your visit.

1. Choose Your Session

First, select the hire option that best fits your production timeline:

  • Half Day (Morning): 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (£175.00)
  • Half Day (Afternoon): 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (£175.00)
  • Full Day Session: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (£300.00)
  • Evening Session: 5:00 PM – Midnight (£400.00)
  • Night Shoot: Midnight – 5:00 AM (£125.00 / hour)

2. Submit Your Booking Request

Send an email to contact@station53a.co.uk with the following details:

  • Requested Date(s) & Timeslot(s)
  • Project Brief: A brief overview of your shoot (film, photography, music video, etc.)
  • Crew Size: Total estimated number of cast and crew members
  • Parking Needs: Free parking is included for up to 5 vehicles. Let us know in advance if you require additional parking space.
  • Special Requests: Mention if you need specific props, vehicles (Decapitan / Kittypocalypse), or FX/makeup services.

3. Secure Your Date with a Deposit

Once we receive your request, we will provisionally reserve your time slot and send over payment instructions.

Deposit Terms: A £100 deposit is required to lock in your booking. This deposit is fully refundable within 48 hours after your shoot, provided the location and sets are left clean and undamaged.

4. Optional Pre-Production Recce (Site Visit)

We strongly encourage directors, photographers, and location scouts to arrange a pre-shoot walk-through. A recce allows you to plan shot lists, inspect the eight distinct zones, and organize logistics before shoot day. Contact us via email to set up a site visit.

What to Expect on Shoot Day

When you arrive at Station 53A, you’ll have full access to your booked zones along with the following on-site amenities:

  • Toilet Facilities: On-site toilets available for cast and crew.
  • Refreshments: Complimentary tea, coffee, and water provided for your team.
  • Support: Our crew will be on hand to ensure a smooth, safe, and productive session.
